About

A London-based artist, Georgie M’Glug graduated from Portsmouth University in 2006 with a degree in English Literature and Creative Arts, and is currently studying photography at London College of Communication. Her work has been exhibited at Genesis Cinema (May 2012), The Gallery on the Corner (January 2012), Victoria & Albert Museum (2011), Nellie Dean (November 2011), Rich Mix (August 2011), Acquire Arts (December 2010) and The Situation Room (November 2010).

Inspired primarily by the human body, she explores the concept of identity as it is determined within a given space. Her stark, yet playful, images simultaneously illuminate and confound themes of freedom and entrapment, public and private, self and other.
